We recently completed this mechanical maintenance job for one of our valued clients. During the full conveyor strip down, we completed the following scope:
- Bearing replacement
- Inspections of the conveyor skirt, and the head and tail drum
- Drive gearbox replacement
- Redesign, fabrication, and installation of a new deflector chute
- Design, manufacture, and installation of a replacement conveyor support
- Installation of a new access door to the existing chute
- Dust suppression system inspection and maintenance
- Design, fabrication, and installation of a new reject chute
- Full condition report supplied to client on completion, with full spare recommendations.
During the belt & scraper inspections, the conveyor belt was found to be defective so we promptly engaged with one of our specialist suppliers to supply and install a new rubber conveyor belt.
