Pan to Bucket conveyor conversion.
Our client had only 22 days to complete this project and engaged with us early as we all knew that rigorous planning would be crucial.
The old chain, pans, head and tail and rails were stripped in 4 days working 24/7, whilst another team started the process of assembling the new chain and buckets ready to be installed.
With expert guidance from the OEM’s engineer, the new head and tail ends were assembled, and the new rails aligned and welded into position. The chain pulling began with 5 days left of the program, which we all knew was tight, but with a final massive effort from everyone, the conveyor was commissioned and handed back to the client with 8 hours to spare.
