Firstly, all the old equipment and security fencing had to be safely removed, ensuring that no other equipment or processes were compromised. There was very little space to manoeuvre our lifting plant, and a strict personnel / plant segregation protocol had to be implemented.
Once the footprint was cleared, we were able to begin the install of the new Lachenmeire and new line, working 24/7 alongside the OEM’s technical support. Although the job was challenging with time, space and access all being at a premium, we were able to complete the project inside the allotted time and production was able to recommence as scheduled.
